L’Occitane offers collection convenience with CollectPlus partnership

L’Occitane has partnered with CollectPlus in the UK, allowing customers the ability to collect and return their purchases at nearly 6,000 local shops across the country.

Since 12 October, L’Occitane customers have had the option of collecting their online orders at 5,800 newsagents and convenience stores up and down the UK within the CollectPlus network.

Through CollectPlus, L’Occitane is also offering free returns for the first time.

Click and Collect is free for L’Occitane customers who spend £35 or more online, or £5.95 otherwise.

L’Occitane follows the example set by other high street and online retailers, including John Lewis, House of Fraser and ASOS.

In urban areas, 90% of people live within a mile of a store within the CollectPlus network.

According to Neil Ashworth, CEO at CollectPlus, the Click and Collect and Returns service will “open up choice and convenience to L’Occitane customers allowing them access to the full product range, wherever they live in the UK”.

Convenience

Mark Dugdale, digital and CRM director at L’Occitane, added: “Delivering an excellent shopping experience to every customer is incredibly important to us at L’Occitane and we are confident that our partnership with CollectPlus will help us continue to do this.

“The Click & Collect service from CollectPlus gives all of our customers more choice by allowing them to pick up deliveries from a convenient location at a time that suits them and their busy lifestyles.”

Earlier this year, L’Occitane was singled out by market research company Kline alongside Lush for its boutique retailing model, which remains a dominant platform for sales growth and brand presence despite the rise of e-commerce.

Kline said L’Occitane has set itself apart from standard stores by setting a scene of the natural and idyllic Provence region of France.
