The event will be hosted by the FDA alongside more than twelve co-sponsoring organizations, and will be held at the FDA Wiley Building in College Park, Maryland. For European companies that can not attend, CAAT says the conference will also be available as a live audio teleconference.
Discussions and presentations will address the roadmap outlined in "A roadmap for the development of alternative (non-animal) methods for systemic toxicity testing," by Basketter et al. in ALTEX (PDF). This stakeholder forum will be modeled on the one held in Brussels in March, 2012.
