China SFDA plans to simplify procedures for cosmetics producers

The State Food and Drug Administration in China has announced it plans to simplify procedures for name or address changes of cosmetics producers.

The aim is to intensify the management of cosmetics administrative license, further improve work efficiency, and offer convenience to the administrative counterpart.

“SFDA recently issued a notice on simplifying the procedures for cosmetics producers to change name or address (production site unchanged) in accordance with the Regulations Concerning the Hygiene Supervision over Cosmetics, and on the conditions of the original application requirements unchanged,”​ says the organization’s website.

The notice shall come into effect as of February 1, 2013.
