Packaging Innovations set to open its doors across Europe, starting this October
Those events include London, 4 – 5 October, 2012; Amsterdam, 28 – 29 November 2012; Hamburg 23 – 24 January, 2013; and Birmingham 27 – 28 February 2013.
The series of events will again feature a comprehensive exhibition floor featuring the latest innovations and product launches from a wide variety of packaging providers covering the locat markets, as well as Europe and beyond.
Targeting brand managers, designers, product developers and market researchers from a cross-section of fast moving consumer industries, including cosmetics and personal care, the event aims to be a one-stop shop for professionals.
Focusing on forms, materials and design
According to the show organisers, the aim of the events are to focus on the forms, materials and design of packaging, creating an event where both marketing and packaging professionals can come together to share information about the latest trends and developments.
One of the biggest events is likely to be the one in London, which will take place at the Business Design Centre, and includes a comprehensive programme that will incorporate free learnShop seminars, the BPIF Carton Conference, a Luxury Packaging category and a Brand and Design Village.
Amongst the exhibitors will be AEC Packaging, AMS, British Contract Manufacturers, Curtis, London Fancy Box and Sensicap, together with industry associations and market research organisations.
First ever event in Germany
The event in the Netherlands is also likely to prove to be an important event as it will represent the Benelux countries, and this year it will feature a keynote presentation from Robert Monaghan, managing director of design company SOGOOD, as well as learnShop seminars.
Amongst the industry players on the exhibition floor will be names such as Total Packaging, WeLL Design, PET Power, Leo Luxe, Bericap Benelux and the Dutch Packaging Association.
There second event in the UK will be held at the Birmignham NEC, in halls 18 and 19, whereas the Hamburg event is the first of its kind in Germany and will be held at the Hamburg Messe. More details about these events can be obtained from the event organizer, easyFairs.
