Symposium focuses on 'unpicking' cosmetic science claims

A two day symposium, entitled 'Cosmetic Science - The Good The Bad And The Beautiful' - will focus on scientific claims for cosmetic prodcuts during the course of a detailed two day programme.

Held May 30 - 31, at Trinity College Dublin, in Ireland, the programme is divided into three core segments - Good Science, which will focus on the latest technologies; Bad Science, which will focus on how cosmetic companies get science claims wrong and Beautiful Science, which will highlight how to substantiate claims.

Key note speaker at the event will be Dr. Ben Goldacre, an author, broadcaster and medical doctor who is specialised in the area of scientific claims for a variety of medical and cosmetic product areas.
