Plastics tradeshow promises to boost business as economy recovers
Organised by IDICE, the company behind LuxePack Monaco, the event was held last year for the first time in Lyon, France.
According to the organisers, the second event aims to connect the entire plastics sector and offer a European, rather than purely French reach.
President of the French Plastics Indusyry Federation Bruno Estienne professed his support for the event, saying that: “it will be a unique opportunity to meet exchange and express the expertise and huge potential of plastics processing.”
“In the current economic context, it is more important than ever to be able to come together and seize this kind of opportunity to grow our companies,” he added.
According to the organisers, as the economy recovers FIP will offer companies the ability to establish and develop business contacts.
Innovations in machinery, equipment and design
Held from May 24 to 27 in Lyon, more than 500 plastic industry players will be able to present innovations and technical solutions in the field of machinery, equipment, tools, design, models, quality, services and recycling, and more than 8000 visitors are expected.
Although the event will cover the whole of the sector, FIP will also have a separate space dedicated to plastics processing – which the organisers refer to as a tradeshow within a tradeshow.
The space will contain plastics processers, injection, blow, rotational and extrusions moulders and the decorative and finishing specialists.
