French cosmetics company L’Oreal is showcasing its Vichy Laboratoires' Normaderm Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care on the back of a recent study which claimed acne was the number one skin concern in women.

From the study, which was carried out on 300 women, the L'Oreal Institute for Ethnic Hair and Skin Research revealed that acne is the most common problem, as well as the biggest skin concern cited amongst all four major ethnicities.

Over-the-counter products and home remedies are the top two most-used approaches to treat acne, and L’Oreal are promoting its Vichy line as a one stop shop for acne concerns.

According to the French firm the Normaderm Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care is oil-free, lightweight and easily-absorbed, replenishing skin with balanced moisture with zincadone+, which is an oil-regulating and antibacterial ingredient consisting of salicylic acid which soothes and regulates inflammation.
