The contribution to Clarins’ sales from China, Vietnam and Thailand is expected to grow from 15 to 20-25 percent in the next three years, according to the Bangkok Post.

In a visit to Bangkok, chairman Christian Courtin Clarins said the company planned to double the amount of products sold in Thailand by 2012 by adding more product lines, investing in advertising, giving away free samples and opening more spa outlets.

“Thailand is a big market for skin care products and Clarins is in a good position here,” the paper quoted him as saying.

He also said China and Vietnam were among the priority markets in Asia.
