Airlessytems has released a fully recyclable airless packaging system for cosmetics products.

Eden is a 50ml piston system with a 1ml progressive dosage, which according to the company is 100 per cent leak proof.

Protects formulation from contamination

Like the rest of the company’s range the product features the benefits of the signature airless system, namely increased preservation of the formulation from environmental pollution.

By making Eden 100 per cent recyclable, Airlessystems is aligning the offering with the current trend for all things green.

According to the company, which is a subsidiary of the Aptar group, Eden has a retaining strength maximum of 2kg for a viscosity of 30,000 cps.

In addition, the company points out that the product is fully customisable and can be combined with a range of decorative options such as silk-screening, hot stamping and offset printing.

Popular with high end sector

Such airless designs are becoming increasingly popular within the cosmetics sector, particularly with the high end manufacturers.

As they keep air, and other contaminants, out of the dispensing system they help prevent contamination and extend the life of the product - essential criteria for producers of cosmeceutical products and fragile formulations.
