Tech Nature launches fruit and plant face masks
food and plant extracts, France-based Tech Nature has launched a
range of face masks and body wraps featuring such novel
ingredients.
To be featured at the forthcoming In-Cosmetics show, which will be held in Amsterdam in April, the two face masks in the range will be marketed as peel-off, and are said to have a 'skin-hugging' effect thanks to formulation advances. The fruit and plant body wraps have been formulated as natural, rich in colour and scent and ready-to-use, and feature seven different formulations incorporating natural plant and fruit extracts for their varied active properties. The masks include a raspberry seed and lemon translucent peel-off, together with a hot caviar mask, each targeting different skin care needs. Raspberry seeds help moisturise The Raspberry and Lemon Face Mask features alginate and glucose, included to increase the moisturising properties, whereas the raspberry seeds are rich in omegas 3,6 and 9 to moisturise the skin and the lemon is included for exfoliation purposes. Ultimately the company claims that the treatment helps to improve skin brightness and brings about a healthy glow. Meanwhile, the Hot Caviar Mask is said to have anti-aging properties thanks to the skin cell re-energising qualities. Those include Vitelline, which is composed of phospholipids, phosphoproteins and other mineral elements that help to moisturise the skin and stimulate the cells, ultimately boost collagen activity. Likewise the treatment is also said to contain strong anti-oxidant properties, which helps to prevent skin cell membrane destruction, while also neutralising the effects of free radical scavengers, responsible for cell ageing. Seven different body wraps The seven-strong fruit and plant body wraps include Hibiscus, Grape, Coconut & Vanilla, Seaweed, Guarana, Pineapple & Papaya and Horsechestnut - with each individual formulation containing different active properties. As well as providing ingredients aimed at improving skin health, these treatments also include invigorating fragrances and colours that provide enhanced sensory perception. Formulated as gels, the wraps cover the body in a film that is easy to remove at the end of the treatment, without having to shower. The range will be launched at the In-Cosmetics show in Amsterdam, 15-17 April, and can be seen on the company's stand, E173.
