The company’s core business was originally built around two technology platforms: Delivery Systems and Peptides. The Cosmetic division was dedicated to encapsulation and delivery systems, especially millicapsules and liposomes, while the Peptide division was specialised in the synthesis and purification of peptides for pharmaceutical applications.

In recent years, our expertise in peptides has been incorporated as a technology platform into the cosmetic operation and peptides are currently one of our most active product lines. This has enable Lipotec to become one pf the leading suppliers of cosmetic active ingredients in the world.

Furthermore, Lipotec has designed a new concept of beauty adopting an idea that is firmly accepted in the medical and food industries, but is only starting to enter the cosmetic field: Prevention. Through this new concept, called Preventive Cosmetics, Lipotec has demonstrated that acting on the skin TODAY will minimize its damage TOMORROW.
