A new natural and organic personal care conference is scheduled to open its doors in New York City on October 20, with its organizers claiming that it will cover all bases for the industry.

Called Ride The Next Natural/Organic Wave Conference, the program will last two days and features three key subjects, including a trends and outlook presentation, legal and regulatory issues and a session about naturals formulation technology.

Three-track conference

"Our three-track conference allows conferees to move between tracks to hear specific presentations which may be of particular significance to them," said Dr. Robert Grayson, conference director.

"By having three plenary sessions of interest to all to start the conference, we will be able to provide the information without disruption."

The first session, Growth of the Natural/Organic market and Global Future Outlook, will be led by market research provider Kline and Company, while the regulatory session is entitled 'The Legal Side of All Aspects of the Natural/Organic Market.

Technology session

There is also the technology session, entitled The Current and Future Impact of Natural/Organic Ingredients and Technology on the Skin, which will be split into anti-aging; color cosmetics, face and body personal care; and general skin care.

The organizers say that they are expecting over 45 presentations over the two days, with companies that have already confirmed their participation including Coty, Gattefosse, Cognis, Eastman Chemical, Sederma, Kermira, Sabinsa and ISP.

Grayson adds that he is also looking for further companies to make presentations and that any interested parties should contact Grayson Associates.

The event is due to take place October 20 - 21 at the Hilton Hotel in New York City.
