IBR-dormin gains organic status from USDA

Israeli Biotechnology Research’s anti-ageing ingredient has gained organic status from the USDA.

The company’s dormin ingredient is an aqueous extract of the narcissus bulb and claims to slow down cell proliferation thereby delaying the ageing process.

According to the company the ingredient can be used in anti-ageing formulations and whitening products as well as helping to inhibit unwanted hair growth and control dandruff.

Now the company has gained USDA certification it is looking towards the France-based body Ecocert to gain approval of IBR-dormin and other actives in its portfolio in the European markets.
