UK skincare brand Simple has teamed up with travel agent Tui Travel to promote its products at foreign exchange counters of Thomson and First Choice.

The Birmingham-headquartered company will offer free travel skin care packs worth ₤25 (€29.5) to customers changing more then ₤500 throughout the month of August.

Simple Health and Beauty hope the move will attract new customers to its brand, which it claims is already the UK’s number 1 facial skin care brand.

“We are hoping that this will be a successful initiative and will help us to recruit customers that haven’t yet experienced the Simple brand,” said group marketing director Alex Pike.

For Tui Travel the offer is designed make exchanging money more attractive, at a time when foreign travel is suffering and withdrawing money abroad with credit cards is seen as an increasingly convenient option.

“We hope that the incentive will attract customers to the foreign exchange counters in both First Choice and Thomson stores,” said Richard Turner business development manager for Foreign Exchange UK and Ireland at Tui Travel.

According to Pike, this is the first promotional partnership of this size that has been forged by the Simple brand.

“This is an exciting initiative and is the first time that Simple has forged a promotional partnership on this scale.”

“Everyone needs skincare essentials when going on holiday and so we developed the simple holiday skincare pack to introduce Tui Travel customers to our key ranges, including Simple Kin to Skin, Simple Sun Sensitive and Simple Regeneration,” she added.
