A clinical research organisation, proDERM, has announced it will be hosting a free-to-attend webinar on raman spectroscopy in dermatology trials.

The event is set to take place on 30 March, lasting one hour and led by Dr Arne Böhling, Head of Division Innovations for proDERM Institute.

“The 60 minutes long webinar provides useful parameters as well as relevant case studies. Advantages and specifications of the technology will be discussed and delegates will have the chance to actively contribute within a question and answers part,” the company says.

It notes that registration for the event is open now.

What is raman spectroscopy?

Raman spectroscopy is often used in chemistry to provide a fingerprint by which molecules can be identified.

It is a spectroscopic technique by which vibrational, rotational, and other low-frequency modes in a system can be observed.

The webinar from proDERM will offer a lecture style insight into the technique and its possible applications in dermatological trials.
