Trans Max buys equipment manufacturer

Trans Max Technologies, has acquired the New York based corporation Bogner Industries, a designer and manufacturer of equipement for the cosmetics and other related industries

Engineering company Bogner makes a range of products, ranging from small stand-alone conveyors, to robotic systems, and to multi-million-dollar food processing lines.

Now in its tenth year of operation, the company expects to exceed last year's sales of $6.7 million with a net profit of approximately $966,000.

Within the cosmetics industry it has worked with several prestigious companies, including Estee Lauder Cosmetics. Elsewhere, it ranks companies such as McCain Foods, Kraft Foods and Nestle Prepared Foods among its clients.

Bogner Industries was founded in 1995 by Erwin Bogner and Ruediger Albrecht based on the needed for plant automation. More recently, the company has added a sales team to its business.
