Re-sealable sample pack fits needs of modern consumer

A re-sealable sample pack for creams and lotions allows the consumer to test a product over a number of days while providing ample branding space, claim the manufacturers.

Cosm’in will be officially released at the packaging show LuxePack that takes place in Monaco next week.

The sample package is the result of a joint project between Indigo by Valois, which specialises in small promotional packages, and Cofatech, which focuses uniquely on the samples market.

According to the two companies, the ‘promotional, on the go’ brand solution is compatible with all types of sample distribution including mail shots, magazine advertising or distribution in retail outlets.

The sample pack is flat with a re-sealable cap. When the cap is open, the product can be administered by pressing on the pack, and when closed the sachet is completely sealed.

This means the sample sachet can be taken anywhere and re-used more than once, risk-free, according to the companies.

A clear plastic surface at the back of the sachet allows consumers to see the colour of the formulation and also how much product is left in the packet, and the upper layer can be customised to fit the image of the promoted brand.

“By combing this high quality experience with a large printed surface, Cosm’in keeps up with consumer’s changing habits while staying in line with brand’s requirements,” said the companies in a statement.

Indigo by Valois provided the product design and development, whereas the manufacture and distribution will be the domain of Cofatech.
