Targeted at the body balm and perfume stick categories, the new packaging is described as ‘earth-conscious' due to the incorporation of biodegradable and compostable materials.

The company says that the packaging can be tailored to hold varying amounts of product, while the exterior can be fashioned to give a range of finishes and looks to suit different trends and brands.

The EcoPak range was introduced in 2008 with the aim of helping to reduce the amount of non-renewable materials used in the cosmetics and personal care category, and the range was recognized at the DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation.
