Cosmoprof Bologna prepares for opening

The four day event is set to offer a variety of workshops, events, seminars, dedicated fragrance and packaging sections and an all new ‘Extraordinary Gallery’ area catering to the beauty and cosmetics sector.

The trade show​

The floor space will be divided thematically into four main pavilions covering a broad range of industry segments including packaging, cosmetics and spa products.

From the 9th – 12th March, attendees will have the opportunity to network on the show floor while also having access to the educational program for advice and information on the latest trends where organic packaging and nutria-cosmetics are said to be high on the agenda.

Highlights​

This year Cosmoprof is introducing the ‘Extraordinary Gallery’, an exclusive area where brands can showcase unique beauty products, fashion, furniture and more.

“It’s the place where beauty and whimsical meet: precious gowns, top travel destinations and luxury hotels and SPA, unique pieces of design and art, niche beauty products and fine food​,” said a spokesperson.

One of the educational highlights is a conference on Saturday 10th entitled, ‘Where beauty meets sensuality’ where presentations will address the trends, challenges and developments in organic cosmetics from speakers like Valérie Lemaire of Ecocert Greenlife and Francesca Morgante of Natrue.

Talks on nutria-cosmetics are also high on the agenda as the concept of improving beauty from the inside out by ingesting active ingredients is increasingly becoming a hot industry topic.

Here speakers will highlight challenges and opportunities of ‘beauty micronutrients recipes’, including Nica Lewis, global skincare analyst at Mintel and Shannon Petree Curtin from DMM Beauty.
