News in brief

Allergy and irritant free colour cosmetics (foundation) packaging

28-Oct-2011

Packaging manufacturer HCP has launched a sponge tottle that can be used for liquid foundation claiming it is allergen-free.

Made from synthetic latex sponge, it does not contain any irritant proteins, typically found in natural materials, said the company, which added that this aspect makes it safer for use on sensitive or acne prone skin.

The sponge applicator is removable and thus can be rinsed, removing product build up.

The squeezable tube is 30ml in size and has been constructed from a double layer co-extrusion to ensure excellent barrier properties, explained HCP.
