Spincontrol lifts the lid on how wellbeing can be harnessed to develop cosmetics

For a number of years France-based research company Spincontrol has been delving deeper and deeper into the subject area of wellbeing in an attempt to discover how more effective and targeted cosmetic and personal care products can be developed.

CosmeticsDesign-Europe.com caught up with Dr. Arnaud Aubert, from the University of Tours at the recent Beyond Beauty show in Paris. In the interview he explains how the collaborative work with Spincontrol in this area has helped to give developers an additional edge.

As Dr. Aubert explains, wellbeing concerns positive emotions, which is why this has played a crucial part in taking the concept and adapting it to help understand how consumers relate to cosmetic and personal care products.
