Skin care brand launches oral and topical product

IBR's marketing manager, Dr. Liki von Oppen-Bezalel told CosmeticsDesign-Europe.com the Phytofloral beauty supplement and IBR-TCLC (phytoene and phytofluene tomato extract) topical face cream will act in a synergistic way in the upper skin layers as well as more deeply within.

Market trends​

Von Oppen-Bezalel highlighted beauty from within as a market that is showing significant growth, and said it is one of the main influences behind the dual system product.

Beauty from within has been a growing market trend, with many companies attempting to tap into the potential market of edible beauty, which Kline estimates will be worth $2.5bn (€1.87bn) by 2012

Skin lightening or brightening, and the evening of skin tone, was also highlighted by von Oppen-Bezalel as a key market trend, and is now developing internationally from the Asian market borders.

Yllume's Ultimate Illuminating Complex Skin Supplement has been clinically tested throughout 28 days use, and according to the company demonstrated impressive results.

The dual phase system showed visible, 64 per cent improvement in skin lightening, 73 per cent improvement in acne spots and 70 per cent improvement in pore number.

Dual system combining phytoene, phytofluene and carotenoids​

IBR-Phyto(flu)ene is a combination of phytoene and phytofluene, IBR's proprietary colourless carotenoids, in either oral or topical forms.

Devoid of visible colour, IBR-Phyto(flu)ene absorbs light at the UVB and UVA range only, thus protecting from UV damage.
