The two chemical companies have worked together before across many countries in Western Europe for many years, and Belgium-based Univar is pleased to have agreed this extension.
Opportunity to further expand

Over the last few months Univar has established legal entities in the Middle East and North Africa, and is hoping this development will demonstrate its commitment to continually grow its personal care and industrial cleaning businesses.
Key to strategy
The specialty chemical distributor says this is key to its strategy and with this range of Huntsman’s surfactants sold primarily to these markets too, Univar believes it will compliment its existing portfolio.
Huntsman also sees the benefits of continuing its relationship with Univar particularly in emerging markets.
