George Schaeffer, founder of OPI, of one of the biggest names in nail care, talks about his shift into the professional hair care sector. Having created a household name for the OPI brand, he explains in this interview how he wants to do the same thing in professional hair color.
Schaeffer explains that his objective is for women to go to the hair care salon and not only identify the brand of hair color they want their hairdresser to use, but also to be able to easily identify the exact shade they want with easy to remember names.
Having already achieved this with the OPI brand in the nail care category, he believes that the same technique can be applied to the professional hair coloring category.
