Beiersdorf’s Nivea brand launches CSR initiative


Beiersdorf has launched a CSR initiative through its Nivea brand in conjunction with children’s aid organisation Plan International.

The German cosmetics player formed a partnership with Plan international as part of its ‘social involvement’ strategy, and hopes to give disadvantaged children a better future through education.

The first projects have been launched in India, Rwanda and the US, and the two companies are exploring other opportunities, it was said in a statement.

Projects include the construction of an athletics field at a primary school in Rwanda and promoting school-based education in Uttarakhand in India.
