The programme aims to educate attendees on the latest developments in skin care formulation and also invites attendees to talk with speakers and other industry professionals about some of the key themes.
The first editorial webinar takes a look at the current state of the skin care market. It will take a look at the latest trends in the fast-moving skin care market and highlight some of the new ingredients available.
Presented by Kline’s Nikola Matic, there will also be a summary of the current regulations and a hint at where the best opportunities lie.
Stem cell technology
As anti-ageing is always high on the agenda when it comes to skin care, and stem cell technology seems to be the breakthrough in this category, it is only right that there is a dedicated session on this too.
L’Oréal’s Patricia Pineau and Michelle Rathmand-Josserand and Mibelle Biochemistry’s Dr Fred Zulli will speak about the evolution of the technology and how it works.
There will also be an overview of current ingredients and products on the market as well as a look at how to market this complicated technology.
Sun care focus
Sun care has been a key theme in the last year, ever since the release of the FDA’s sunscreen monograph addressing labelling.
The ruling hopes to clear up consumer confusion and Johnson & Johnson’s Nadine Harrison will give her presentation on how to get labelling right.
Harrison will look at what you can and cannot put on a label, as well as looking at how the new regulation has affected products around the world.
Marketing the right message
The last session making up the educational programme looks into how to market the right message to the consumer , with Healthy Marketing Team’s Aurore De Monclin.
De Monclin delves into the world of claims and how to market skin benefits to the consumer, as well as looking at examples of how it has gone right, and wrong, in the past.
There will also be an insight into how clued up consumers are when it comes to skin care, what ingredients are and what they do, as well as finding out creative ways to present ingredient claims.
Registration for the event is free and can be carried out at www.skincare-ingredients.com .
