Regulatory Status of Animal Testing in Cosmetics in China by April Guo
As head of cosmetic regulatory affairs at the Chemical Inspection and Regulation Service (CIRS), April Guo will focus on animal testing in cosmetics in China from a regulatory point of view. Ms. Guo will give suggestions as to how stakeholders can balance regulations in different countries or avoid animal testing in cosmetics in China.

As president of the IIVS (Institute for In Vitro Sciences) Dr. Curren is the ideal person to provide insight on the pace of change by the China FDA on alternatives. Rodger is set to talk about how the Institute is now providing training to Chinese labs on in Vitro test methods with OECD Guidelines, its’ interaction with regulators and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with China’s National Institutes for Food and Drug Control.
