Rising costs prompt DSM UV filter price increase

Ingredients manufacturer DSM Nutritional Products has announce a global price increase for its branded Parsol UV filters, driven by sharp increases in raw material and energy costs.

The announcement sees product specific price increases of up to 25 per cent worldwide for its branded filters, with the adjustment effective immediately for all newly contracted business.

UV filters are ingredients which protect skin and hair from the damaging effects of the ultraviolet radiation. DSM Nutritional Products produces and markets both UV-A and UV-B filters under its Parsol name.
