The cosmetics range is made by Paul Penders, a company more commonly known for its work within the US naturals market, and will be distributed by The Natural Skincare Company.
Due to the cold-blend manufacturing process the range is said to maintain more of the natural goodness of the plant extracts, as the process does not strip the natural potency of the ingredients, which often happens during the more conventional heat processing.
The LevensEssenttie Gold skin care range incorporates 22 organically grown ingredients, including herbs, plant based ceramides, vitamins, fruit based extracts and essential pure plant oils.
Being bio-active ingredients, the cold-blend process is said to keep them at full strength during and after processing, ensuring they retain their full potency levels in order to give maximum benefit to the skin.
The company claims that the range contains no artificial preservatives, colours or perfumes, giving it better moisturising, soothing, rejuvenating and anti-oxidation properties.
Registered with the Vegan Society, the range will no doubt excite UK consumers who are seeking products that boast only natural ingredients, which are at present gaining momentum in the lucrative skin care market.
Branching out into the UK market will no doubt boost sales for the company with significant progress and evolution in recent years making the UK the leading such market in Europe.
Organic Montior estimates that sales of natural and organic personal care products doubled between 2002 and 2005 in the UK, with annual sales expected to top €200m in 2007.
