The company, located in the Alps in the region Haute Savoie, has raised new capital from investment group finaréa and existing investors.
With the new funds (amounting to approximately €800,000) the company plans to reinforce its product range and commercialisation in France, before looking further afield to the rest of Europe and Japan.
Increasing production
In order to fulfil the demand of these potential clients, the company is proposing to up its production.
Directors of the company Gilles Cantin and Max-Michel Grand explained that the successful arrival of new funds would help the company into its new development phase.
“The arrival of the group finaréa will allow us to start on a new development trajectory of our brand both in France and for export,” they said.
Finished products and ingredients
The company manufactures a range of skin care products including face scrubs, masks and moisturising creams that contain certified organic oils and ingredients.
In addition, Huiles & Baumes offers a number of oils including jojobo, avocado and argan.
The company has also launched a range of supplements containing vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that promise anti-ageing benefits as well as reinforcing hair, skin and nails.
