The market research firm formerly known as Organic Monitor has announced its rebrand to become Ecovia Intelligence is taking effect.

The company says the rebrand is intended to reflect the broadening scope of the firm’s remit, with the company now providing specialist research, consulting and training for global ethical product industries.

Ecovia Intelligence states that the first seminars and workshops undertaken by the rebranded organisation will take place at industry events in the coming weeks: Cosmoprof Bologna, Natural Products New Zealand Summit, Natural & Organic Products Europe, and In-Cosmetics Global.

Amarjit Sahota, Founder and President: “Ecovia Intelligence will continue to encourage sustainable development in our specialist industries. Organic, as the most sustainable form of agriculture, is a core part of our corporate DNA and will remain a key focus.”

Why the change?

When it launched in 2001, Organic Monitor was dedicated to assisting operators in the organic products industry through business intelligence. Through its first decade, this scope broadened to include related industries, such as free-from foods, health products, natural personal care products, fair trade products and ethical products.

Its services portfolio also increased, expanding to encompass market research, business consulting, technical research, and seminars & workshops.

In the last 8 years, the organisation has also been hosting sustainability summits in Europe, North & Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific. The summits bring together key stakeholders and discuss pressing sustainability issues faced by the food, cosmetic, or cleaning product industries.

The re-branding represents a new chapter in the growth of the organisation,” the company states. It looks set to strengthen its position as an authoritative market voice within the beauty and personal care industry, as the emphasis on sustainability, natural beauty and related trends continues to develop and grow.
